Christmas in July & Tree decoration

Christmas in July!

We are in the middle of the summer holidays but in 6 moths Santa will be preparing his sleighs, presents... so enough time for bigger project.
I would like to offer this year another one gift like this one.

It is raining here finally, big opportunity to start with something easy and quick!

Time to get in ho ho ho spirit. Seeing July Challenge of Flying Unicorn by Alda Stevens I was preparing something in my head... here is my shabby rosette ornament / first photo.
As both sides are decorated it can be hanging anywhere.

Finally I did two Christmas projects for the moment.
Second project I did is this 3D star ornament from Spirits of Christmas Past,
decorated with jingle bell and bleu light glitter.
I used paper in pastel colors and I embossed it.

Wings are starched by spray many times to become real fixed wings.

Tree and vintage spindle ornament are coming from Christmas Ornaments.
I am posting some picks I did last Christmas as I've never published them.
I offered them as a gift in one lovely box decorated by decoupage.

Here is final look of my flat paper's creations and the napkin ring.

Happy crafting!

Card "merci" TCR#170

Bonjour everybody.

Here is my second take on the Palette #170 of The Color Room.

I stamped and I applied metallic grey liquid pearls to the background layout.
I made white embossing with help of soft toothbrush to keep it clean from additional powder.
Also I made embossing with Cuttlebug folders.
Each palette is bringing some new experience. Yellow strass gave bright light to this card.

Two weeks ago one surprise was waiting for me in my post box.
An envelope coming from far Australia. It was my prize from featured project TCR#168.
Thanks to Alicia for very nice choice of ribbons from Scrapbook Fantasies.

It is why my second entry.
This "merci" is dedicate to Alicia and to the fabulous team of The Color Room.

Waiting for next palette.

Card "à la campagne" TCR#170

Today's post is dedicated to the new challenge at The Color Room

Colors of this month "July" are based on the color combo you can see below.

A household item that needs to be used is a toothbrush.

I have enjoyed this color palette doing this card finally.
Small dose of red color gave to this card different touch.
Thanks another one time for a new experience.

I 've painted a few edges of the paper layouts with a toothbrush, included yellow lace.
For stamping I used black and grey ink.
White lace as curtain was embossed with fine white embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon!

Mermaid Carriage

Bonjour dear friends!

Not too much to reading, more to watching today. I would love to share mermaid's carriage, coming from amazing Enchanted Autumn. With coming summer and children leaving for holidays it can be also nice summer gift.

For embossing I used Dimensional Embossing Folder Shell Beauty from Spellbinders.
I decorated it with ZVA pearls, Stampedous glitter, Webster's pages sparklers and liquide pearls.
In each lantern is placed big purple rhinestones.

Do you have some another idea for mermaid?

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

A bientôt, Monika
