Mermaid Paper Crown

After a paper castle I posted previous week,
I am sharing with you a small
but by girls well appreciated treasure: a crown!
My girl is still not speaking, but already she knows where to put it, LOL!

She said and showed me her head: "mother here!!"
This one is made only from paper, glitter powder, strass, pearls and embellishment, like "what home is giving".

Have a nice rest of a weekend!

Mermaid Paper Castle

With a Castle gift box from Bedtime story is starting our (me & my little daughter) future summer party for my dear Emma.
I was inspired by the little mermaid story.

Next stuff, tiara, I have already started to learn beading for her new mermaid crown, LOL.
Paper one, or more of them, will be ready next week.

I used paper AC Cardstock, Canson, Sewingbird and Seaside Life from Tilda.
A castle was decorated with a different shadows of glitter, pearls and I embossed with my favorite Dimensional Embossing Folder Shell Beauty, see a front door panel and back side.

Wishing you a lovely and sunny weekend!

With love, Monika

Summer postcard with TCR#168

I continue playing along at The Color Room ,with palette TCR#168,
I was inspired by summer: azure shadows of water, geraniums, sand and clouds.

I used household item as well, I placed it under the flowers, for 3D effect and I used nature paper with texture impression of thread inside. Here is my take on this challenge and thanks for this experience.

Thanks for your visit and your lovely comments!

 Hugs, Monika

Embellishment for mini album with Graphic Fairy

Hope you are all enjoying the start of a new week.
Today I am sharing with you album memorizing beautiful moments from Christening Party. I created two mini albums using a lot of graphics pictures from Karen. She is brilliant blogger bringing for us each week such "paper beauties".

Let's see a few details.

I love to create albums in different style. Let see now a few details with graphic vintage ornaments.

This envelope is coming from my talented friend Anta, I love her so much! And thank you so much!

I am keeping inside a few photos, mini invitation and mini menu.
I have shared them in a post before.

For front and back page I used carton, gesso and for the edges I used die flourish from Sizzix. Before to bind it all I added a lot of glimmer mist for this rainbow nacre effect.

Love this romantic color palette for all the bouquets and boxes of dragee as well.
See embellishment of the bouquet below, I used it for both albums and I resized box of dragee only for one piece. I find it cute.

Let's see a second album, gift, quiet identical as previous.
Finally I prefer this shape, it's easier to store.

Have a nice week!

Gift Card for Mother Day

As I have made card for Mother Day with lots of love previous week,
I am coming with a few gift cards today.
It is a nice occasion to say thanks to all the mom for their never ending love.

I find a gift card always useful and "présentable".
I like simple shape and such a fresh color palette.
This one is easy and quick to do in advance for any occasion.

Wishing you a nice weekend!
